Remote Control Batteries
The remote control batteries must be fully discharged and then fully recharged regularly.
Charging can only take place in the temperature range of +10 °C to +40 °C (+50 °F to +104 °F).
NiCd batteries can be partially charged or discharged before arrival. Batteries must always be fully charged before use.
NOTE
Protect the batteries against short circuiting. Do not store them in a tool box or loose in a pocket together with metal objects as these can short circuit the battery.
Clean Remote Control
The remote control requires cleaning. It is important that the remote control is not damaged.
Make sure that the active stop on the remote control is not blocked by dirt or similar.
The battery contacts must be cleaned and lubricated at regular intervals.
To clean the remote control, use a damp rag or a fine brush to remove dirt and dust.
NOTE
Never clean the remote control using high-pressure or steam washing. Strong chemicals can destroy the remote control rubber bellows.

- 1.Check that the rubber bellows (A) on the switches and levers on the remote control are not damaged.
Clean Remote Control
- 1.Clean and lubricate the battery contacts on the remote control.
Remote Control Storage
There is a storage area below the air filters behind the service hatch when the remote control is not used.
