Lubricate Boom and Feed

•
1.
Fill the 24 grease nipples on the boom and feeder and 10 grease nipples on the jacks front and rear with grease.

•
1.
Check attachment and tightening torque on the boom head (A).
•
2.
Check clearance between feed and feed attachment (B). 2–4 mm (0.08-0.16 in.).
•
3.
Check attachment and tightening torque on the feed attachment (C).
•
4.
Check for play between bushes, shaft, and holder (D) in boom and boom head. Replace with new bushes as necessary and change the shaft if needed.
•
5.
Check clearance on bearings in cylinder lugs (E). Maximum clearance 1 mm (0.04 in.).
•
6.
Check attachment on the attachment of feed extension cylinder (E).
•
7.
Check mounting and damage on nine locking plates (F).

73 Nm (54 lb-ft)

Tightening Torque Feed Attachment
185 Nm (136 lb-ft)

•
1.
Check for play between bushes, shaft, and holder (A). Replace with new bushes if necessary and change the shaft if needed.
•
2.
Check clearance on bearings in cylinder lugs (B). Maximum clearance 1 mm (0.04 in).
•
3.
Check attachment of feed extension cylinder (B).

90 Nm (66 lb-ft)
