Replace Oil in Traction Gear

NOTE

First oil change after 250 engine hours, then every 1500 engine hours. Clean the gears with flushing oil before filling with new.

NOTE

Change the oil in all four traction gears at the same time.

  1. 1.
    Position the traction gear so that the filling plug (A) is at its highest point and the drain plug (B) is as low as possible.
  2. 2.
    Remove both plugs and drain the oil from the traction gear.
  3. 3.
    Position the traction gear so that the drainage hole (B) is slightly lower than the filling hole (A).
  4. 4.
    Fill with oil in the filling hole (A). It is full when it overflows from the drainage hole (B).
  5. 5.
    Screw back the plugs.
